We founded Ivernees because we believed operators deserved a different kind of consulting partner — one that could sit at the table as a peer, do the work themselves, and leave the client stronger than they found them.
Ivernees was founded in 2018 by a small group of former operators and finance leaders who had spent their careers inside high-growth companies. We watched executive teams pay handsomely for advice that never quite fit — decks that looked impressive but didn't survive Monday morning.
We started Ivernees as the antidote: a small, senior, deliberately independent firm that would only take on the engagements we could genuinely move the needle on. Today, we serve founders, private equity portfolio companies, family-owned businesses and mid-market executive teams across North America — from our home base at 948 W 27th Street in Indianapolis.
We remain small on purpose. Boutique is not a marketing story for us; it is a business model. It lets us stay senior, stay honest, and stay accountable to every client on our roster.
Every advisory firm has values on a wall. These are the ones we actually organize ourselves around — and the ones our clients can hold us to.
The partner you meet is the partner who does the work. No handoffs, no ghost teams, no rotating associates learning on your dime.
We don't resell software, take referral fees, or accept commissions. Our only economic incentive is your outcome and your renewal.
Hourly billing rewards the wrong behavior. We scope the work, price the work, and finish the work — full stop.
Discretion is a core deliverable. We don't publish client logos without permission, and half our best engagements will never appear in a case study.
The measure of a good engagement isn't the report we hand over. It's the capability that stays with your team once we're gone.
We would rather tell you the hard truth in the first meeting than the comfortable one in the tenth. Our clients tell us it's the reason they hire us again.
Ivernees is led by our founder and managing partner, Tahlia Benson. Tahlia spent the first fifteen years of her career inside operating teams — as a finance lead, a chief of staff and eventually a chief operating officer — before founding Ivernees to bring the same rigor to companies from the outside in.
Under her leadership, Ivernees has grown into a nationally recognized advisory practice while remaining deliberately small. Tahlia is personally involved in every engagement Ivernees takes on, and she reviews every deliverable before it leaves the firm. It's a level of ownership most advisory firms outgrow. We think that's a mistake.
Beyond her work at Ivernees, Tahlia serves on the boards of two Indiana-based nonprofits focused on economic mobility and small-business development. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA with a concentration in strategy and finance.
The best way to understand how we work is to spend thirty minutes with us. No pitch, no obligation — just a conversation about what you're trying to build.
